If that coin is really have year 1997, then it should have KM#991 reference number.

Thank you for this remark. The magnetic subtype is not mentioned in Krause SCWC-2017, so it shouldn't have any number. I removed the reference number from the magnetic coin's page.

You appear to have a duplicate for a New York City subway token. For one, the reference is AC#NY630AY and the other is AC#A630y. They really look identical to me. Could you please clarify? I'm sorry, I was wrong in both cases. I've only looked at the language of the legend which was repeated after some years, but indeed there are differences. The metal is the same however, but the lettering (and position of it) is slightly different but the big difference is the position of ALS.
So now we have another problem. Some dates are emerged because they have the same language of the legend, but they also have the same difference in location of ALS, like the 2 Rand 2004 - 2016 KM# 336 (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2914.html).
So these have to be divided also. Here is a picture as proof:
20 Cents 2003 - 2016 (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2899.html)
Same position of ALS, but a slightly different lettering and size of date: (letters are closer to each other for the 2003)
