This seems to be confusion between the legal approval date for the notes (Nov 15, 2023, printed on the notes) and the actual date of issue (Oct 9, 2024). For consistency's sake, it should probably be listed with the date actually on the note.
This note was printed outside Guatemala; therefore the long time from approval to effective issuance dates.
@TheGame yes, obviously there was a confusion between dates, and there was only one batch of notes issued, so there must be only one variety line.
Now, what is the correct day to assign? There is only one date on the note, that is the legal approval. The seal on middle of note “1924 2024” shows the 100 years lapse. So, I will ask to keep the 2023 date, and will add note that was issued on September 10th., 2024 (not 9th.), as stated on Bank news Billete Conmemorativo Q 1.00 “Los billetes conmemorativos son de curso legal, por lo que circularán con las otras denominaciones sin restricción alguna, a partir del 10 de septiembre de 2024.” (The commemorative notes are legal tender, so they will circulate without limitations with the other denominations, from September 10th., 2024).
@odd job My note, and all other images I have seen (catalogs, internet, selling sites, etc.) have B…A letters. So far I was not able to find the resolution text, so can't say what was decided; as what i have seen so far, I assume all notes have same prefix and suffix.
Just 10 options: you understand binary, or you don't.
