Australia 1942 Penny

Hi,

I have this coin from Australia, a penny 1942.
I cannot see any dots near P or Y, also I cannot see "I" below bust.
Is this coin real or fake?

first of all present better images, take the coin out of the holder to avoid unwanted reflexions. I tried to improve yours:


secondly always give the numista reference, in this case

That would allow somebody wanting to help you to do it faster, imagine 20 people having to that, it would be 20 times faster for mankind , if YOU had already done it.

Now look at this:

One dot after "PENNY' = Perth Mint
A dot in between "KG" = Perth Mint
Dots before & after "PENNY" with "I" below bust = Bombay Mint (some varieties lack the "I" below the bust
No dots = Melbourne Mint

NO DOTS AFTER PENNY
NO DOT BETWEEN KG, BUT K:G:
NO DOTS BEFORE or AFTER PENNY (NO "I" BELOW BUST, BUT A REFLEXION FROM THE HOLDER MAKES THAT IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE!)

So what are you left with?

A very normal 1942 1 penny, right?
