An "assumption" dont seems a good reason to me to do that kind of modification in any coin page. For this case, do a search in google, "C3-240 Hungarian coin" or "C3-240 coin", you will find nothing... so if a request to add thoose "letters and numbers" as a reference was made, we just went from bad to worst.
Even if it is a reference, first there is a place to put it and secondly it should not have passed trough the refree/refrees, it does not give any info alone without any kind of clarification and there does nothing
If not, what stop me from starting adding letters and numbers in any coin page? Even better, after that i will do some popcorn to wait till they become references... 🙈🙉🙊

That (Hungarian) PDF has 'CNH III 240' just over halfway down >
also the same 1611-1613 dates, and on the page in question > https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces36388.html
there happens to be other references >
so both pages have the same references [869 / 1140], apart from KM, so
I think CNH III 240 = C3-240 hopefully.
Anyone else agree - then it can be added to the reference like on the
page for the coin in my previous reply.
Thanks - I then will change the page and add that as a fourth catalogue reference -
which as they are being added all the time then this one may not have been on the list.
