It is dated 1866 and has the N mintmark (difficult to make out, but I think it is this), indicating it was struck in Naples. According to Krause no 1866 1 centesimo exists of any of the Italian mints. The numista catalogue page: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2275.html states that this date and mint is unconfirmed. The details are also incredibly crude, as is especially apparent on the reverse. Perhaps this is just a result of a double strike on the reverse. You can make out the ghostly impression of a '1' to the right of the more visible mangled '1'.
Could this be a contemporary counterfeit with a made-up date?
