Mint mark on 1 cent Trinidad and Tobago KM# 29

6 αναρτήσεις
I have several 1 cent coins from T&T (KM# 29) and none has a visible Mint Mark (1977; 2005; 2007; 2008 and 2009) neverthelss the catalog shows all those coins with mint marks ONLY.

Can someone help to identify where is the mint mark, or maybe the catalog needs to be revised.

Regards,
Rui-Manuel

I have some also, and cannot find the mark. If it did, I think it is below the ribbon centre in the emblem, so above the date. The FM shows it was made at Franklin Mint USA.
Here (first image) is a different coin but it shows a  F  symbol (so not literally FM letters) where I mentioned. Perhaps the page (and others) does need amending, like you suggested.

That second image is from a Cook Islands proof coin I have (in a holder) that is shown as 1976FM

and against it it reads 'Matte, Proof & Special Uncirculated' but there are others on there that do not have those markings - so perhaps the T&T pages should be like that also.

Nice Cook Island coin Zac - I like it ! Yes they're all Franklin Mint - I think a lot of island coins have this mintmark; I think a lot of proof Philippine coins as well. Let me search my coins - I have a proof of this coin and I'll post a pic and show if mine has the fm
OK I see on the 1974 but on the KM29 it is on the right side under the banner; not very visible to naked eye but use a magnifying glass you'll see it
same problem here, 1981 without mintmark

Coins found with Google Images also don't have any.

I think, as with all other coins from T&T, only set issues have the mintmark.
I see 'CC' on the 1 cent 1971 at the right of the right ship, just outside the shield
