On first side I can see D G
On second side I can see HISP
So is probably from Spain

The D G is in the correct place to yours, top left of the castle.
And if your second image is rotated the HISP would be around the lion.

I believe you are correct. You can see the date on the 2nd image at 8 o'clock.
