I recently found this item pictured. - RCM Meeting - Toronto - June 24 to 28 - 1974
It is a 3" plastic cube, with each of the 1974 Canadian coins to be minted [Dollar, half dollar, quarter, dime, nickel, penny].
They are all silver in color [except for the penny]. Any idea if these are silver coins? I have never seen the 100 Winnipeg dollar before, along with the 1974 quarter and dime to know if the sides are all silvery through, or the brown/silver layers from the typical copper-nickels milled coins. The penny is showing up as silver because of tricks of the scanner light through the plastic. It is a normal 1974 UNC penny. Copper and all.
Any ideas on this, or further history if anyone has any, would be fantastic.
Any thoughts on the value of something like this?
