Why do you think your coin is 90% silver as opposed to 40% like a typical coin? Do you have access to a reliable scale that reads to the nearest 0.1 grams? That would provide a definitive answer.

That's not so sure. When you know, that you can easily have a 6% deviation on masses on modern coins! Here an example:
