Crazy Date

8 αναρτήσεις
I have a 1994 Czech Republic 50 Haleru KM 3.1 with a date stamp I don't know what to call, Has anyone ever seen this before? Dose anyone think this type of date stamp add value to this coin? I am looking for similar ones out there and if there is a name for it and would it be considered an error? The three pictures show the full coin, a close up of the date, and another 1994 Czech coin with I believe is a normal date stamp.

Thank you for any replies.

that is interesting. I dont know how to describe it either, or explain it.
CDMA has an even weirder one for sale.
If it adds value - depends as always, on if you can find a motivated buyer.

Hello colleagues
My friend I have a sad message for you-it won't be financially on a sailboat.

4 x coin variants are known,, 50 haléř 1994,,-Czech Republic

K- 2500 psc
l- 27500 psc ( for sets mint sign upright-"b," with a crown, the mintmark of Jablonec Jewelery)
m- unapproved sample ?
n- the most widespread variant

k-n - No. 9
- brand position
-line ,,0,, - ,,5,, character ,,h,, interrupted - uninterrupted line
- matt-glossy
K-l - dates - left varint is
- ,,9,, open and level
- mint mark upright
m-n -on the right variant
- ,,9,, closed and the mint mark is inclined

I hope I did it to understand?
Here are the sets:

variant:
and my:

I should have simply written- the difference is the mint mark for sets and circulation ( even sets are in circulation) and variants of numbers , plus ,, 5 ,, and ,, 0 ,,

Best regards, Ivan
Ivan, I understand the open date and close date, I have several examples of those open and closed dates, So it appears this type of date stamp only appears on this coin. Thank you for the information, I wasn't looking for a financial score, just wondering if it brought a better value or if it was an error of some type. This coin is also missing the support line on the reverse. It does appear your picture is similar I just can't make out the picture very well. Once again thank you for sharing.

Hello friends
Big mistake !
letter ,,b,, and above it a crown -is an old race brand who has devoted himself to making jewelery in the past.
Well-known products have been sold worldwide. The city is,, Jablonec,, factory name: ,,Jablonecká bižutérie,,
After the split of Czechoslovakia, the Czech Republic needed coins, Former Common Federal Mint ,, Kremnica,, is in the territory of the Slovak Republic.
For the sake of anger and pride justify the need for production for their state, they refused to make coins for the Czech Republic. ,,It was on purpose,,
The government decided that the costume jewelery plant would be reoriented to coin production. Therefore, they helped with the production of the 1993 and 1994 Mints in Hamburg-Germany and the Mint of Canada.
The first coin in JB was made of 50 haléř 1993 coins
,,So Kremnica did not cut coins for the Czech Republic,,
The first mint made in the Jablonec Jewelery Mint was , here are the numbers of coins in the individual mints from the catalog for the coins of the Czech Republic and ,,50 haléř,,

HM - Hamburg
BJ- costume jewelery Jablonec
BJ PP-only for sets
,,I have to forget the main question oblique and straight ,, b ,, is the difference between ordinary production and production for coin sets,,
I will be happy to answer any questions and help you understand our history.

Hi Ivan,

thanks for the clarifications. I have changed the documentation accordingly, but I still have the question about the 2 different circulation coins with "closed" nines and fine and bold dates.

Is there a vertical mint (crowned B) and a fine date?

Hi
My opinion is that the vertical "b" was only on coins for sets, and the number "9" was fine. for circulation coins, there could be differences in numbers,,9,,
However, I have never specified a specific problem, so just my opinion. I'll try to find out the details, however, so far, "NUMISTA" seems to be farther and more accurate than its own numismatic associations.
