1970 one dime no mint mark

Generally, the P mintmark for Philly on US coins, other than cents, began in 1980. An exception is WWII nickels, where the P indicated Philadelphia and also the alloy change. A missing P from 1980 forward on nickels, dimes, quarters, etc is what is rare.
