Older coins from small places

There are many examples of old (over 100 years old) coinage used in very small places for example islands. Have these been used in the place they were made for or somewhere else, or maybe not used at all? I think most have been used.

Saint Helena: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces18419.html
Greenland: Thule kap york coins and the Greenland mining coins https://en.numista.com/catalogue/groenland-1.html
Antigua and Barbuda: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces33215.html

There are many more, like St. Helena and Ascension, but for example that is not on Numista. There are also many examples that are on Numista. These are, maybe the most common uncommon ones.
Other interesting examples of small territories that issued coins in the past briefly could also include Kiau Chau (Kiauschou or Tsingtao), and Danish/Dutch India.
And there is at least one "unique coin:8D" such country  :
Isles de France and Bonaparte
Rather expensive indeed 8.

Réunion has many for example https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4213.html

I saw a great 5 Rupee coin from Cocos Islands for 150€ on ebay, but someone bought it.
If you bring up Réunion, then we must also bring up the copper-nickel issues of the same era from Guadeloupe and Martinique!
I can't resist to mention Monaco, one of my favorite numismatic small places
in 1837-38, Prince Honoré V had minted 1, 5 and 10 centime coins in copper

Also, there are many other like Curaçao and Gotland:

No 1 centime, only 5 and 10 (Décime) centimes were minted. Those Honoré V issues were minted on almost identical planchets to the 5 and 10 centime coins issued in France almost 50 years previously, by the 1st Republic shortly after the revolution. :wiz:

The Curaçao 3 Reaal is a very interesting coin in my opinion. It is part of early Curaçaoan coinage that came in many sizes, metals and shapes. Under Britain and Netherlands there was:
A small silver/billon Stuiver, a large countermarked US cent (2-1/2 stuivers), a small Reaal (6 stuivers), the 3 Reaal (18 stuivers), a 3-1/2 Reaal (21 Stuivers), a 5 Reaal (30 Stuivers) (Not on numista), a 1/4 Gulden (Not on numista) and a 6 Peso gold coin, that is not on numista. Also a 1/4 Reaal was used.
Then there are other islands like Dominica that have interesting countermarked and cut coinage
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/dominica-1.html
But there are so many counterfeits and copies that make collecting these old carribean countermarked coins is almost impossible.
I have heard that Curacaoan 3 Reaals and also other curacaoan coins "can be collected" because they aren't that rare and aren't faked so often.
Also the Jamaican 10 Pence 1757 is quite common. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces62980.html
