1938 Sweden 2 Kronor - Gustav V (Tercentenary of New Sweden) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces12992.html
Another obscure part of history; the Swedish attempts at colonial settlement in North America were limited to New Sweden, located around the mouth of the Delaware river (unless you count some minor Caribbean colonies like Saint Barths. It was given to the Dutch in 1655, and later lost it in turn to the English in 1664.
1938 Yugoslavia 50 Dinara - Petar II https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces7472.html
King Petar II of Yugoslavia was only 15 at the time this coin was minted; he succeeded to the throne with Prince Paul as his regent at the age of 11, when his father Alexander I was assassinated on a state visit to France, in Marseille.
1938 Hungary 5 Pengö (900th Anniversary of St. Stephen's death) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces6490.html
Hungarian commemoratives from the Regency era are the best. I'm looking to complete a type set of the 2 Pengö issues now.

1937 United Kingdom 1 Crown - George VI https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces8473.html
I must have the worst example of this coin there is; this didn't nominally circulate, so I'm not sure how it got to be this way. Commemorates the coronation of King George VI on the 12th of May 1937; the same date his brother Edward VIII was supposed to be crowned on before his abdication.
1937 Australia 1 Crown - George VI https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces12503.html
Commemorates the same event as above. This coin had to have legislation rushed through the previous year to allow for a commemorative crown to be struck, since no mention of denominations above the florin had been mentioned in the Australian 1909 Coinage Act.
1937 Austria 2 Schilling (Karlskirche Bicentenary) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces12324.html
One of the last of a series of commemorative 2 schilling coins issued in the First Austrian Republic (1918-38); one coin was issued a year from 1928 onwards, but there was no 1938 coin due to the Anschluß with Germany.
26 (1937) China - Japanese Puppet States (East Hopei) 1 Fen https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces22962.html
Issued by the Japanese in East Hopei, a territory technically under Chinese sovereignty, but de facto under Japanese rule since 1935.

Now we got to the british year of three Kings! There sadly hasnt been any coins minted showing the bust of Edward VIII (except some patterns) so its George V time now https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces5985.html
1936 Philippines 50 Centavos (Establishment of the Commonwealth) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces21144.html
This piece was one of many dumped into Manila Bay after Pearl Harbour, to avoid having Philippine silver coinage falling into Japanese hands. Later retrieved after the war, the telltale signs of water damage mark it out as being part of the "Manila Bay Hoard". It also has a mintage of only 20,000 pieces.

Very nice Indore coin Parimal. Did you make a change request? Because the original pictures on the coin page are very small and your pictures are very nice and much bigger.
For every coin I've posted on this thread and my pictures are better/bigger than the original ones, I've made a change request. I know, it takes a lot of time and effort, but it's for the greater good. So please, I want to see your pictures on the Indore coin page.
1934 Austria 2 Schilling (Engelbert Dollfuß) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces12321.html
Dollfuss was a far-right Austrian politician who was leader of the Vaterlandsche Front. In the Austrian Civil War (1927-34), he became Chancellor in 1933, but stuck firmly to Austrofascist ideals, opposing unification (Anschluß) with Germany under the Nazis. He was assassinated the following year by Austrian Nazis in an failed coup d'état that thwarted Hitler's plans for annexing Austria four years early, as well as nearly leading to war with Mussolini's Italy, which at this point still opposed Hitler's Germany.
1934 Panama 1 Balboa https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces18304.html
I don't actually like the personification on the reverse. It seems a lot more poorly done and caricature-like than European or American coins of the time.

1933 France 5 Francs https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1188.html
The "Bazor" 5 Francs, nicknamed "la Bedoucette" was rejected by the public, mainly because of it's unimpressive 23.7mm diameter (compared to the 37mm of the old Franc Germinal silver 5 Franc coins); the 5 Francs Lavrillier rectified this with a "more acceptable" 31mm diameter.

Yeah, as referee for it on Numista I have to say French Indochina produced the best colonial coinage in the whole of the French empire, both aesthetically and numismatically!
The designs are frequently on par with or even better than those used in metropolitan France, which is something hardly seen on colonial coins of any nation.
1930 Austria 2 Schilling (Walther von der Volgelweide) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces12317.html
There's a much scarcer German commemorative coin from the same year, that utilises the exact same obverse depiction of Walther von der Vogelweide by Grienauer.

1929 Latvia 5 Lati https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces6595.html
"Milda", the female personification of Latvia is depicted in profile facing right on the coin's obverse; for over half a century of Soviet rule, this coin remained a symbol of Latvian independence and identity. Today it is featured on the Latvian 2€ coin.

The first year for coinage of the Irish republic, and so my last chance to include Ireland here.
All well circulated examples, I'm afraid. looking for upgrades.
Jamais l'or n'a perdu la plus petite occasion de se montrer stupide. -Balzac
Interesting mix of languages, especially on the obverse. Arabic, English, and Hebrew, and the Arabic numbers are still Gregorian (1927, instead of 1346).

1926 United States 1/2 Dollar (Sesquicentennial of Independence) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces37692.html
To my knowledge the only US coin that features the bust of a living person on it, in this case Calvin Coolidge, the then incumbent President of the US.

Let's see if we can get them all; the comment on that article you linked says "a bunch of senators and the governor of Alabama" are among the living people on US coins.

Well, maybe they're on the list too, but the page referenced a former Alabama governor and a couple of senators (verbatim) being living people depicted on US coins, so that's probably not it.
