I just realized I have one of these as well, I was glancing through my pile of roman bronzes I haven't attributed yet or are too poor condition to, and noticed it since I was just looking at your coin yesterday. Nowhere near as nice as your's, which is why I never paid it much attention before

Thank you sir for the find! Do you know what it might be worth? It is one of thousands and thousands of these types of coins s.w.i.m. found and is curious what they could possibly be worth all mint condition.

I'm far from the best person to talk value with. Most of my roman's I just get uncleaned lots for about $1 or $1.50 per coin, it's something to waste time on and kinda like playing the lottery but cheaper... Mine's about average for what I clean, so your's is definitely worth more than $1.50.

Look around for comparable on ebay, if I had to guess for that condition average roman bronze, maybe $7, no idea about that particular pattern's rarity.

Thanks for your reply and the information. Swim stands for, "Someone Who Isn't Me" because I don't want anyone to think I have Roman coins because I do not. Someone else I know does and I am just researching for them.
