Coins of Menorca (Minorca) during British occupation

I've never been able to find any references to what circulated on this island which my fore fathers occupied for almost a century off and on. I assume it will be a similar story to Gibraltar at the same time multiple uses of crap in relation to Quartos but i can't say.

Does anyone have some advice or knowledge of this period ?

I'm really just wondering what the coinage history of this island was from circa 1700-1802 really. I find it odd there's no mention of anything during the British period of rule which did extend long enough for some sort of coinage.
Two years ago there was a very complete auction of coins from Balearic Islands. The catalog of the auction is a good book for Balearic coins. You can find it here:

You can see some medals minted in Mahon in XVIII century, but under Spanish rule.

The main reference for Balearic coins is Numismatica Balear by Campaner. You can find the scanned book. No reference to any other coin in Menorca in those years, except the medals from Mahon.

I figure that the coins used under English rule were the Spanish and English of those years. The coins used by common people everyday were doblers, and the garrison would use pence.
