Not sure that we have a duplicate listing or not.
This coin is shown in our catalog in two references, with the exact same mintage of 43,008,000 coins produced.
The first reference indicates the coin to be magnetic KM# 491: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces395.html
the second listing indicates the coin to be non-magnetic KM# 491b: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3587.html
this may be a duplication error or we may have both versions of the coin.
Please can you confirm.
Thanks,
Rui-Manuel
According to Krause you are completely right. For the nickel plated steel coin (magnetic) the 2006 only exists with P mintmark or RCM logo, not without mintmark or logo, that's the copper-nickel coin (non-magnetic):
And with exactly the same mintage number, I think it's safe to say the 2006 year line for the KM# 491 is a mistake in our catalogue and should be deleted.
Just like the comment in the comment section: "NOTE: There exists also a 2006 version with neither the 'P' Composition Mark nor the Maple Leaf Logo."
That coin does indeed exists but it's the KM# 491b, not the KM# 491. Therefore this sentence should also be deleted in the comment section of KM# 491 because it is misleading.
My argumentation is based on Krause, maybe someone with a specific Canadian catalogue can confirm this?
Essor proof,
I have the same information as you on the kp 2015 North America coin catalog thus I believe we are both right.
Do you know the process to request a change in our catalog?

Yes I know. But for duplicate listings we have a special topic on the forum (https://en.numista.com/forum/topic50987.html#dernier) and I've put it there. Someone of the Numista Team will take action then if they do agree with our conclusion.

Not quite exactly. We deal with obvious duplicate listings of coin sheets.
As for your year lines, referees usually are the ones to notify about an error, once they confirm it's wrong.
then report it here: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic50988.html
asking to move owners of 1 certain year line to another one then delete the wrong line
and no worries, all good. Thanks a lot to both of you :)
Once the referee sees this, he shall take action
I don't want to be pernickety, but part of the text in the comment section should be removed too, namely: "There exists also a 2006 version with neither the 'P' Composition Mark nor the Maple Leaf Logo."
This sentence would suggest there is also a 2006 coin with neither the 'P' Composition Mark nor the Maple Leaf Logo for KM# 491 and that's not correct.
If that sentence wouldn't be removed, at least add a few more words so it isn't misleading anymore. Something like: "There exists also a copper-nickel 2006 version with neither the 'P' Composition Mark nor the Maple Leaf Logo (KM# 491b)."
thanks to all,
The change is already implemented in our catalog,
The reason why I didn't request a change directly in the catalog is because I was not 100% sure, next time will request a change and I guess who approves will decide if applicable.
