France 1922 25 Centimes without Hole -- anyone have info? [επιλυμένο]

I just got a French 1922 25 centimes, KM867a, without a hole in the middle.

I haven't seen this before and I haven't found anything in the catalogs or on google about it. Anyone know anything?

These kind of coins have often errors, smaller hole, the hole can be displaced... or sometimes without a hole.

Fakes exist. Have you checked the weight and if it is magnetic ?

I saw something last night, admittedly for a 10 Centimes, that shows sometimes
French coins exist without a hole, so same happened I guess to a 25 Centimes as well ...

It doesn't look fake but I would be interested to see the edge as the coin seems short (lake all around).
Error known, not usuall.

​No, I hadn't -- but now that you mention it, it's 4.99g, which is a little light considering the extra material where the hole should be. It's also magnetic.

I guess it's fake...too bad.

Oh, these are bad news.
The weight should be definitively over 5 g. with the overage of metal.
And it should not be magnetic (cupro-nickel)
