I saw something last night, admittedly for a 10 Centimes, that shows sometimes
French coins exist without a hole, so same happened I guess to a 25 Centimes as well ...
Απόσπασμα: "chrismck"Hi all,
I just got a French 1922 25 centimes, KM867a, without a hole in the middle.

I haven't seen this before and I haven't found anything in the catalogs or on google about it. Anyone know anything?
Thanks,
Chris
p.s. I can upload a pic if anyone is interested.
It certainly appears to be a real coin. Where did you find it?
No, I hadn't -- but now that you mention it, it's 4.99g, which is a little light considering the extra material where the hole should be. It's also magnetic.
Oh, these are bad news.
The weight should be definitively over 5 g. with the overage of metal.
And it should not be magnetic (cupro-nickel)
I'm sorry for you

No worries, I bought it from a scrap bin. Easy come, easy go
