Hello I have received a coin lot compromising of 33 coins mostly silver with arabic writing. I was told that they are possibly from Iran 17th to 18th century.
I will not post them all at once so will post them step by step.
could someone help me identify the coins and also help me date them?

As Heretic_Cata already said, all the three coins are from Afghanistan - Barakzai dynasty.
The first coin is Afghanistan 1 rupee 1281 (1865), KM# 503 but is not in the Numista catalog yet. The picture of the obverse (your right hand side picture of coin 1) is upside down:
The second coin is Afghanistan 1 rupee 1305 (1888) Kabul mint, also with a bit different diameter as the third coin:
Thank you so much
Im impressed with how many can decipher the arabic on these coins really great to see so much knowledge in our community.
I will post some more coins. (I was wrong so possibly also from Afghanistan.

Ugh - sober now, so can't help much.
But coin number 3 of the new ones looks like coin number 2 of the old ones (side B is upside-down).
Also, coin 1 has that avocado that is on coins from the Sikh empire and on Kashmir coins.
The picture of your reverse must be turned 90 degrees clockwise. Even then it looks the reverse is not matching but that is because with a lot of these coins from that period the die and the flan don't match correctly. I don't know how it exactly works but the result is that the image of the final coin is often twisted in comparison with the same other coins.
Yay thank you so much any ideas on coin 2, 3 and 4?

Thanks Heretic_Cata that leaves just two more to identify.
I hope you had not too much to drink

Nice find Heretic_Cata. I still couldn't find coins 2, 3 or 4. There's always 1 side that doesn't match. Like the coin you could identify.
The only 1 rupee AH 1283 Kabul Mint from Muhammad Afzal in Krause is this one:
The reverse is almost the same (the place of the date pertaining to the curl in the line directly above the date is different but Krause says two varieties exist for the AH 1283), but I don't see a match with the obverse.
I guess coin nr. 3 must be Afghanistan - Barakzai dynasty, 1 rupee 1305 (1888), exactly the same as the second coin in your first post.
Your picture of the obverse (picture on the right hand side) is upside down.
The reason why I was doubting so long was because I missed a digit in the date, but I guess the light spot right above the green arrow is the missing Arabic "0" (a diamond):
Maybe you could confirm that using a strong magnifying glass?

No such thing !
Btw, i still think coin number 3 is the same as coin number 2 of the first batch !
Απόσπασμα: "Essor Prof"Nice find Heretic_Cata. I still couldn't find coins 2, 3 or 4. There's always 1 side that doesn't match. Like the coin you could identify.

Krause does mention 2 varieties tho. The one in Krause's picture has the words Afzal, Mohammed, Amir from top to bottom. Apuking's coin has Mohammed above and Afzal below (we'll assume Amir is somewhere above Mohammed since we can see the bottom edge of the coin) ...
I feel a little ashamed that I cant figure out sometimes which side is top
anyway thanks so much again.
coin 4 seems to be a hard one zo ID?
Cheers,
Paul

No idea about the fourth coin. I'm pretty sure it's also from Afghanistan - Barakzai. If you turn the right hand side picture 90 degrees counter clock wise you can see the similarities with this coin:
http://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=3330
This SORTA is the fourth. It's a different coin than that from numista, why - i have no idea. The difference in the inscription is that the one on numista has the date, and the one apuking posted has the regnal year written somewhere. Oh, and no avocados.
Also, the one from numista makes no mention of Dost Muhammad's loins, whereas apuking's coin does ! I guess they couldn't find anything else to rhyme with "coins". (see the full reading of the inscription posted by frank on zeno)
