No, this is not correct. BEAC = Central African States (formerly the Equatorial African States), a monetary union between the former French colonies of Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo Brazzaville and Gabon.
This coin is from the West African States, a monetary union between the former French colonies of Benin, Ivory Coast, Niger, Senegal, Togo and Upper Volta.
