My list includes Keeling Cocos (a small island in the Indian Ocean east of Australia), the Caribbean island of Martinique, and the shorted-lived African Republic of Biafra.
I've been thinking about purchasing a coin from Biafra. It is a rare and well-designed coin, 1969 2 1/2 Shillings, but also overpriced and made of aluminum. I haven't decided yet. There are 4 or 5 Biafra coins (all silver or gold) that register 100% on the Numista index, and there are not any Biafra coins on the index under 55.
Biafra only issued coins in 1969. It was a break away republic from Nigeria. There was a civil war from 1967 to 1970 with Biafra conceding defeat in early 1970. It is believed that more than 1 million people died in the conflict.
Danish West Indies, Kingdom of Hawaii, British Virgin Islands, Tuvalu (non-silver coins), Niue (non-Silver), Pitcairn Islands, Sovereign military order of Malta, colonial puerto rico, and Italian Somaliland for me. Although I did find a few of those in recent months.

BVI, Niue, Pitcairn and Order of Malta only have non-circulating commems or commercial patterns. Some people, including me, are picky and do not collect these.

Order of Malta is like a government-in-exile since Napoleon invaded Malta and UK kicked him from there. Pre-Napoleon coinage is considered as circulating, rare and hard-to-get.
