Me too, I am doing that date run for pennies and nickels, have every penny 1920 to 1970 and for some weird reason are missing 1971 and 1976, and every penny after 2008 (2009 -12). My 1922 - 1926 pennies are mostly fine or VF but the 1922 had a big gouge in the back. My favourite of the earlies is a 1929 Nickel in shiny AU/UNC I bought in 2022.
For nickels same as you both, all dates except the 1925 and the scarcer 1926, I have the common 1926 coin and also the scarce 1948 coin. Then I am missing nothing until 1990 and 1991.
Its actually the post 2016 coins I am missing the most of.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.
