Arabic (?) coin given in change..

Hi all

I found this in my change a few days ago and can only imagine it was meant to be a 1p (penny) piece even though it's the wrong metal!!!  


As I only speak/read English i'm hoping someone can tell me what to look for!!

Size is 20mm x 1.4mm thick It's made of wjhat appears to be nickel silver..
