Does anyone here no off the top of your head what other country
uses pure Nickel Metal in some of their coins besides Canada?
Thanks! :)
(I have the 2005 catalog from 1901-2005, and am scouring it, but obviously it will take some time, so I thought/hoped someone here knows already.......smile)

Those are just the dates I physically have - so it is not a list of actual start or end dates.
All those are made of just Nickel. There's more than even I thought !
Those are just countries starting with letter A
Typing Nickel in the Search box brings up 5810 coins, and I display 20 coins per page, so that is 291 pages total ! Mostly the search finds Cupro-Nickel, then also Aluminium-Nickel-Bronze, Copper-Nickel-Zinc, Nickel-bonded Steel etc. Even so, there are quite a few with just Nickel - those 14 coins were found on 14 pages, so perhaps there's about 300 altogether.

Well, took me five hours or so but I reckon the final total is 479
Thanks James
Number of countries, rather than coins, is 5 + 10 + 20 + 21 + 11 + 21 = 88
In the list above some countries appear more than once - Germany three times, India twice, Spain twice
Well by golly, I have checked quite a few of the countries you mention, thanks for the help by the way, and only found Hungary to have pure nickel coins, from 1971-1982, the 5 and 10 Forint, but there are only a handful on ebay!!!!! LOL :)
