as far as I know - circulation strikes of 1982 are found in only KM#201 and KM#201a
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces42.html
and newly added (thanks for this)
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces19872.html
KM#201
Date Mintage XF-40 MS-65 Prf-65
1982 large date 10,712,525,000 — 6.00 —
1982 small date Inc. above — 8.00 —
1982D large date 6,012,979,368 — 6.00 —
1982S 3,857,479 — — — which is most likely Proof, Krause does not say it,
but it is a very low mintage figure and "S" mintage
KM#201a do you mean this one? I added it now, seems there is
Date Mintage XF-40 MS-65 Prf-65 some confusion about this one
1982 large date — — 6.00 —
1982 small date — — 9.00 —
1982D large date — — 8.00 —
1982D small date — — 6.00 —
KM#201b
Date Mintage XF-40 MS-65 Prf-65
1982S 3,857,479 — — 3.00 is definetly Proof, only 1982 mintage for KM#201b
However - thanks for 2009 hint. I will transfer those collection now---
It seems the mintage is a combined one of all the new Lincoln series coins.
Compare the mintage figures on Numista with those at that site
http://www.coinnews.net/2010/01/13/final-2009-lincoln-cent-mintages-presidency-cent-most-scarce/
and I corrected the commemorated events.
should look ok now - have a look. thanks for your help
