Great stuff found in circulation

I decided to create this topic because lately I'm finding a LOT of really awesome coins (in excellent shape, etc) in my change. So if anybody has any particularly prized collectibles they found in circulation at any time, here's the place to share!

I've just been flabbergasted today -- my dad had in his change, completely unknowingly, a Canada 2009 Men's Hockey COLORIZED quarter in XF condition! I couldn't believe it when I saw a) that it was one of the colorized coins, and b) the amazing shape it was still in. I mean, sure, it's not AU or better, but XF grade in circulation just happening to be in my dad's random change -- I don't even know. He also had a Bravery quarter, a Speed Skating (Olympics) quarter, and a Confederation-commemorative nickel, and he didn't know he had any of them. And he wonders why I'm always asking to see his change...

I have recently found this strange coin in a nickel roll:

I have also been finding loads of commemorative quarters lately, along with loonies and toonies. Once I realized that I can try to easily trade them for Euros thanks to our nearly-perfect 2:3 ratio right now :8D I have been hanging onto all of them! So far I have found 3 Arctic 2013 quarters in circulation. The compass design is great

What an odd (but awesome) find in a nickel roll! I love it. :)

I had thought it was just me with the commemorative quarters... and I'd been wondering if change was always like this and I'd just never seen it before. Now I think that maybe they instructed banks to put together rolls with lots of Olympic quarters they got in from depositors, and start putting them back in circulation again more heavily as the Sochi games have come up. (Do you think they'd do that?) Also I've found two of the 3-whale Life in the North quarters as well as one of the other kind, which I've since swapped... both my whale quarters are in amazing shape, which I kind of expected since they're year 2013. I've also got two of the new Olympic loonies for 2014, although I think one is going in a swap soon :) .

One thing I want to find in my change and haven't been finding is the commemorative $2 coins... those seem to be really hard to get. Do you find them in your change very often?

PS: I'd like to note that this isn't just a Canadian thread... I'd love to hear about and/or see photos of cool coins all over the world that you got in circulation! (Vacations count, too, if you got them from the common circulation of the country at that time.)

I just got this in circulation. Did not even know till i got home

I been buying them
It is, what it is, or is it.
Ironically, while selling coins on Sunday morning I received a King James Bible £2 coin (current retail price about £6), an Olympics series 'Rowing' 50p and a 'British Libraries' 50p, all in payment for other coins by customers who thought they were just handing over standard circulation coins.

Funny old world. A friend in West Virginia tells me he used to work at a petrol (gas) station and often used to receive silver dollar coins in payment for fuel, just as one might receive any other dollar coin or note. Including a 1882 Morgan dollar, which he gave me.

I got a rio £2 coin, which is going for £6+ also on ebay in change
Probably less exciting for most people, but I got a 5 kronor coin from 1972 without the lines in the back of the coat of arms last week as change - someone sold that coin yesterday in the same condition for 191 kronor on Tradera.
