2nd swap with collector from my country (Russia)
And now I have UNC perfect Portugal coin and good part of my country 1 kopeck (I collect by type-year and mint all coins from Russia)
And last 3rd swap for today with user from Russia, too
But in this swap only Egyptian coins
some of them not very high quality, but it's normal for Egypt and some of them are absolutely UNC
Today I have free after-dinner time and I spent its meetings for exchanges.
First swap had very nice Armenian coin-set and awesome One rouble from Belarus and 10 Francs from Switzerland
Second swap was with one collector, and this was our 3rd swap at the personal meeting
Third swap was in one time with second (with other user).
In this swap I have nice piece of Imperial Russia. Not very good condition, but I like it
(https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces21305.html):
And I have one swap today from Croatia.
I like 25 Kunas and now I want to have all of them =)
Moi_dela_horowo I have been so busy I still have about 3/4 of the great swap from you to put up. This was to do be the year I get everything in ship-shape. But I have more and more coins to put up, I have not added a coin to my collection on Numista for a month.

I fully intended to share my latest swap. Must have been too excited, the coins were carded up and placed in their proper albums before I remembered I had meant to take a pic.
Alas.
Someday!
Oh, look what arrived from moi_dela_horowo! I can only hope my swap gets there as fast as this one got to me
Only the 2 kopek coin is in intact condition (3 kopeks has been put in vinegar and has a pink colour) here but I got them for a much, much better price than you can find where I am (the 1 kopek alone, with damage, would probably run $10).
Excellent world coins.
Russian commemoratives.
So who else is ready for the Olympic Games on Friday?
A banknote was also included! Unlike most countries, Russian bills do not have certain patterns that prevent photocopiers from taking high-quality scans of themselves, so it is possible to make a very nice image of this note for you. However I have defaced these images so that nobody gets any funny ideas.

Very nice coins
And absolutely perfect design 5 dollars
I have to say, I wish I had that swap!! You got some lovely coins there, my friend. And that $5 bill is just... I've never actually seen one even close to as nice as that, and I live here, so that's saying something.

Yes, I am very happy with this swap.
I like Canadian coins, I collect them. And I think, that 25-cents from Canada have very interesting designs and these are very-very-very awesome.

I adore all the special 25 cent pieces... I'm super happy because my first received swap finally completed my collection of the 2000 Millennium quarter set (I've had 11/12 for years and years), and since I had previously managed to complete the 1999 months set from circulation, I now have the whole two years!! I should post about that in sets I'm most proud to have completed... lol. I'm looking to try and get all the Olympic quarters next, and also try to get the Orca 2011 quarter to complete my (non-colorized non-silver) trio.

Great swap from EddieVB from the Netherlands, it's all the coins from South America that were too expensive for me to find in a local store but too cheap to be worth buying from eBay, and others too
My first and only commemorative 2-Euro coin, I was worried that if I got one I would want them all. It's true
Mixed coins from Europe
I have been looking for this Hungarian coin, because I really like the bridge design (looks like that Turkish coin from the last picture, but obviously not the same bridge). Sadly this coin is now inaccurate because Hungary's official name has changed from Magyar Köztársaság to Magyarország (Hungarian Republic to Hungary) and the coins have followed suit.
Just a new British coin, but the design is interesting.
On to South America! I have been looking for a nice Brazilian real for a while and this is it
Same as above.
The Argentine commemoratives I've been looking for (apparently the 2 peso coin commemorates something, but I don't know what).
Ecuador, like Panama, has coins that are the exact size of American ones. They even made a huge Eisenhower-sized 1 sucre, but they seem hard to come by.
Peruvian commemorative, I hate eating anchovies but I like this coin
Ecuadorian commemorative from before the sucre crashed and burned.
And a nice, new Colombian coin! This series is pretty great.
Finally, Bolivian zinc. I don't think Bolivia was much affected by World War II, but they made some zinc coins anyway in 1942 to fit in.

I got one of these from a good friend in the UK
I am very happy playing with it right now. And a great book on UK coins and some coins for it.

Απόσπασμα: Moi_dela_horowoToday i received absolutely fantastic envelope!
From Mexico with love
I received album, 2 banknotes and 14 coins to close my "Mexico revolution" collection
After some weird incidents with the "Ghost" Registered mail it is so good to finally see that everything went right and that you have now a complete Independence & Revolution collection.

And today I got my side of the swap (minus one of the old Kopeks, I use the picture he sent me when negotiating the swap, because my cell camera is awful and the coins are hard to identify from its pictures):
2 Imperial Russia Silver kopeks and 3 Soviet Silver coins
I gave Moi_dela_horowo all that and I asked for Silver in return, because I spent money and time getting some of the items and the Notes can no longer be valued by just face value as they are impossible to find in circulation, so they are also swapped based on K&M, as well as a way heavier mail fare, and he was kind enough to accept my proposal. And this is what I got in return, and I am very happy with them.

Not as a rule but I'm becoming more interested in the commemorative coins, however I do like the large silver coins depicting some of the building as I think they are beautiful coins.

Do you collect Russian coins?

If you want, we can swap)
I can offer you more Russian coins)
68 coins from all over the World, a bunch of Island Countries As well as extinct territories. From Niue, South Arabia and South Vietnam, to Vanuatu, Vatican City and many other countries / territories.
Already stored them, so no pictures, sorry.
I don't know why, but Island countries coinage seems to have an extra punch for me. Mostly because I didn't even know some of those countries even existed before I found the coin(s), then straight to Wikipedia and Google Earth to fill my curiosity and thirst of knowledge.

From Canada, so it arrived fast
Maybe this is a common coin but I can't find it where I live. I really like coins that re-use "classic" designs like this.
I've looked for this for so long!! The Iranian 5,000 rial coins are hard to get because of the recent sanctions which is a real shame. I was kind of hoping Canada wouldn't go along with it (section removed by bam777) but now the modern Iranian coin set is going to be extra-challenging.
Second from a friend in Belgium:
I also got some nice Hungarian banknotes 500, 1000 & 2000 Forint but due to the security features in the notes I cannot scan them.
Απόσπασμα: Moi_dela_horowoMy last swap on Numista!
Absolutely fantastic coins:
with 2 new countries in my collection:
Danzig and German East Africa
and fantastic Spitsbergen coin
Actually very nice and scarce coins. Congratulations ! I just saw your swaplist and was surprized that I found there mostly very common coins which must have anyone, who has in swaplist coins like danzig 10 pf, and German East Africa pesa, and many others you are post permanently. So, I want to say, that you are lucky man, Wish you more great coins in swaps ! Happy collecting
