I am very much torn between two designs: Kaiserkiller's and Ben's. The both have allegorical figures, something I would have put in my design if the website that I use to make coins didn't stop working for me the last day of the contest! I would have designed something like Kaiserkiller, so that's what I was about to vote for. But then I saw Ben's design. The mere fact that it was drawn by hand made me want to vote for it! But, the reverse freaked me out a bit. In the end I voted for Ben's design, so that the English side would leave its mark on Numista.
PS: I don't like the fact that Ben is second in command on Numista, but can you imagine if Xavier won?!
I was a little back and forth between bam and peterkhull. In the end I went with bam.
To be honest, I didn't like kaiserkiller's at all. I saw it and thought, "oh, a French Rappenfranc."

See I felt the opposite..I believe its a classic design that really screams numismatics. I personally loved it and its simple and easily understood

See, this is exactly what the token is, not just a little. Two reused designs put into one (not to say it doesn't look good).
What makes Ben's design really unique is how it incorporates all aspects of Numista, not to mention includes one of Numista's favorite designs with a little creative touch. Another plus is that both languages are on the reverse, so there is no "one language is better than the other" bias. Personally I'm not a token collector, but if Ben's design was in the window I'd be waiting in line to get one.

Not really, I just voted for the one that has the best chances at getting produced, will be cost effective and most importantly, will actually resemble the original project or design.
