Hi!

A friend need precise identification of these coins, I'd like to have :
-Value, Emperor, Date/Period
-Hartill reference
-Signification of the inscription
-Valuation

I haven't weight and size of the coins, but they're more than 50 mm.

4 and 5 are Emperor Xianfeng 10 cash, boo-yonn mint and 15 cash, boo-ciowan mint respectively. Don't know about the others, either fake, older or from a different country, but the first one looks like a token. Is your friend interested in exchanging them? ;)

I think it's 15, at least in the mandarin I learnt. 50 would be 5x10. I'm not completely sure, but Kenny will confirm or correct it.

First 2 are luck tokens, 3 is aforgery, 4 is 10 cash, like they said above aand the ladt one os 50 cash.

Two dragonfish, symbolizes fortune and long life, then a spade cash coin, from early China, a silver ingot (imperial shape) or some call it a sycee, and a knife coin, also from early China. They all symbolize wealth.

Value's should be in the range of 3-20$ as with most Xian Feng 10 cash. Don't know about the 15 cash.

Whoops looks like I came late to the party.

50 cash. Before the 1950's, Chinese was read from right to left. In Japan, they switched officially in 1947 but the direction of reading was interchanged.

The 50 cash value is based on the size. If it's 55mm or 47mm, it's worth 25 and 15 bucks, respectively. On eBay I bet you can sell this for much more (or trade with me for silver :) ).

The other one? Common 10 cash, worth 5 bucks.

The rest of the coins are amulets. #3 is a Taiping reproduction, and I don't think it has much, if any value.

Didn't answer in time cause my TV blew up and I'm looking for new 60 inch TVs. Our old one was 25 inch.
