Using ½ and ¼ and also 1/2 and 1/4.

The ½ is different in use, sometimes is it in use as ½ and somtimes as 1/2. And the same for the ¼ (1/4).
This is giving a problem in searching. Search on 1/2 gives all ½ and 1/2 but also the 1 and 2 too, we are getting too much as a result.
But a search on ½ gives only the ½ and not the 1/2!

Is it not better that all 1/2 would be changed in ½ (and the 1/4 in ¼ too)?

Is this kind of changes something to do for the moderator or is it for us to modify this kind of changings?

We came to an agreement a while ago when someone changed all the 1/2s.

In the title, 1/2 is written ½, but in the value, we use 1/2 so that it's easier to search.

I think it would be more prudent to use 0.5 and 0.25 instead.

The value that we use in the data is exactly the way it's described on the coin.

Let's say it says "VINGT CENTIMES". In the value data, we would write it as 20 Centimes. If the coin says "1/2 COLON", we write it as 1/2 Colon in the data field, and ½ Colon in the title field.

Now I will start with the ¼ and ½ in the 'Face value' fields. That is a lot more work, but started with it will be ended too.
