Did you check if the weight is the same? If yes, than the metal is the same. I suspect it is gold plated.

I think lidianb is on the right lines - either plated (privately) or cleaned. You should check weight, diameter and thickness.

Weight is abt 3.1 g insteat of 2.8 g in bronze.

I've got one reply which I thing very much close to truth that such coins are nickel plated for jewellery/decoration purpose.
Can you please check if it's surface is shiny? Chances are that it is a Proof coin.
