There is so far at least one issuere in the German notgeld which need Danish Kroner as its currency:

Dybbøl

Exampel:

N#287995

Add values like 25 Øre (0,25) and 50 Øre (0,50)

I assume the year ragne could be 1873 to 1920 or something like that?

Tagging referee in case they want to add something: @Silberschatz

Thanks :D

If places ended up in Denmark after the 1920 Schleswig Plebescite, then they should be put under ‘Danish Notgeld’ with King Christian X as the reigning monarch, as he was King of Denmark from 1912 to 1947.

Let me agree with BC, as Dybbøl was reunited with Denmark after First World War. So unless there were also pre-1918 issues from this municipality, the whole issuer should be moved to Denmark (and translated to Danish).

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!

But the reunification with Denmark was on the 15th of June, and the notes are dated 18th of April. Though I of course don't know if they were issued later 🤔

You are right about that. It seems to be a borderline case  (pun intended) …

They were printed after the results were know, but before the official transfer had taken place. But seeing the imagery (Danish flags) and currency used, I'd guess that they more intended as Danish currency than still sticking to German currency. Even though we have no proof for now, logic tells me they belong in Denmark, even with a somewhat premature printing date.

I read the text on the note (somehow I only think of doing that now…), which say the note is valid as Danish currency, from a month AFTER the reunification until the 1st of Fenbruary 1921.

So maybe we can make the assumption of the “18th of April, 1920” being the “law text” validation date? If that's the case, I can agree with it being moved to Denmark :D

I'll make a transciption and translation now, for the two banknotes's pages.

Hopefully the referee will validate it and add something on here? :D
