What exactly is the denomination of these early modern provincial Chinese silvers? The denomination is not actually stamped onto the face of the coin, but as far as I'm aware the Imperial era Yuan breaks down the same as the modern Renminbi (10 Fen = 1 Jiao, 10 Jiao = 1 Yuan). So wouldn't that make the denomination 1 Jiao and not 10 Fen?
