There are lots of high quality (uncirculated) German coins from that period in time, by the time they had minted them, inflation had rendered them useless. As previously stated your coin is not a proof, it just didn’t get used much because it was worthless.

Many proofs (not all) have a frosted appearance of the details and a polished mirror like finish of the background. The mirror like background appears black in photographs.
Black has nothing to do with it, it is just that the fields are highly reflective. Place a yellow sign above the coin and they will show up in photos yellow. The coin you included here isn’t a proof either!
