Magnetic 4 groschen 1804

Hello everyone! I have this 4 groschen from 1804 N#15622 and for some strange reason it is slightly magnetic. Since it is not a valuable coin by any means, maybe about G-VG i don’t think it is a modern fake. the weight is 4,95 grams probably because of the wear and all of the other measurements are correct. The coin on numista has the fineness listed as .521 so I was wondering if they replaced part of the silver in the coin with a magnetic metal because of the napoleonic wars going on or if this coin is a contemporary counterfeit. Thanks in advance!

:)

What kind of magnet did you use?
This very strong Neodinium-magnets will atrack silver, in a way.

...you can run,  but you can't hide...

I tested it with two different magnets, a pretty strong one that i’m not entirely sure of what it is made of and a completely normal fridge magnet. The stong one attracted it a bit and the fridge magnet attracted it just enough to pick it up.

:)

The fridge-magnet should not be able to pick it up. Lets see what other people have to say about this miracle…
Maybe it is indeed just a contemporary counterfeit.

Here is a picture of the fridge magnet that i used.

It was only able to lift the coin a bit off the table, but it is still something.
