YizzyPeach it helps if you actually ask a question.  My mind reading skills are not what they used to be in my younger days but I'll give it a shot.

You want to know the value of a 1942 Australian penny. Here is the Numista coin page. N#5788 As you can see thete are 4 varieties of this coin for 1942.  The value of your coin would be different depending on which one you have. Also as you can see, the value would be dependent on the condition of your coin.  So the value could be AUD 0.43 to 6.20 to much more if it's a Perth mint Proof.  Does this help?
