Hello, I have the following coin and available details are:
"Tabaristan, Khalid, 766-771, AR hemidrachm, PYE119, A-54, the governor's name in Pahlavi before bust", 24mm (weight not available as coin is slabbed)
I am looking for the appropriate listing on Numista and the only one I found is ½ Drachm - Khalid ibn Barmak Abbasid Governors of Tabaristan - Arab-Sasanian with reference Val Sn# 5.
- I don't know whether the two references, PYE119, A-54 and Val Sn# 5, are comparable.
- The images on the Numista page are too small to do a proper comparison but I can see some variations which I have marked in dark red. I don't know enough to conclude whether these variations mean that my coin is different to the one listed on Numista.
