I also feel both the coins are same because
- The obverse sides of both the coins are same. Unfortunately the reverse side of one coin has been badly damaged.
- Both the coins are refering to same dynasty. In one dynasty has been mentioned while in the other the name of the ruler has been mentioned.
However, there are differences as well
- The reference numbers for both the coins are different. I'm assuming proper research was done before allocating that number.
- Maybe the horse on the obverse side was the emblem of the Hiranyaka dynasty so all coins will be having that and the reverse side was different.
- The reverse side of the better coin is showing a tree like structure which again has a resemblance to another dynasty.
There are not much details of the Hiranyaka dynasty, even I'm hearing its name for the first time. Google AI is showing the dynasty ruled for about just 50 yrs (350-300 BC). For a dynasty to rule for just 50 yrs is quite surprising, Google AI not to be trusted completely. It should be longer.
I'll try to get some info about these coins from an Indian history forum.
