Friend gave me some coins they got at a coin show 6 years ago, real or fake?

A friend recently gave me some  coins they bought at a coin show about 6 years ago. They’re not a collector and didn’t think much of them, but knew I’ve been getting into collecting coins, so they passed them along to me.

There’s a cool mix, a couple of old-looking European coins and some from the Americas, I’m new to coin collecting, so I don’t really have the eye to tell what’s real and what might be replicas or fakes.

I posted the coins below but in the meantime, any  advice for spotting fakes?

Probably real.

First step is usually to compare the dimensions and weights with the values listied in a catalog like Numista.

These are all fun and educational coins to have in a collection, but they're generally too common and inexpensive to interest counterfeiters.

The first one is silver N#4403 

Looks like the D mint. I got mine from bank in a roll.

What about the John Adam dollar coin? It looks like a proof to me. What about the bicentennial penny?

Are there any that are particularly worth more than others? They are some pre-Euro coins in there.

The John Adam dollar may be a poof. But its shape is really in bad shape

Lincoln's 200th birthday series N#7214 

is common here in the US. In fact, i got one of them in change last week. The rest look to be common coins

The Adams dollar does not look like a proof.  Check the edge for mint mark. Anything other than S and it a normal circulation coin.

Also check the mint letter on the Washington ½ dollar. S is proof, D is not proof. Both still have about $12 of silver.

ALLRED1950 is correct about the penny. Nice coin to have but nothing special. 739 million made.
