Unusual layout of elements on 2011 Belgian 2 euro - possible variation?

Hello, dear colleagues!

I ask for your help in identifying and assessing one feature of the 2011 Belgian 2 euro coin. On the obverse, it is clearly visible that the cross, which is usually located on the left side of the portrait of King Albert II, is on the right on this coin. The lower element, in the form of a feather, is also shifted - unusual.

Judging by the official types of design (Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3), this arrangement does not correspond to any of the known variants. Visually, the coin does not show signs of deformation or counterfeiting (it was given as change in a supermarket) - the relief is clear, the edge is standard, the material is original.

Questions:

1. Could this be a minting error (die error)?

2. Is this variety known to anyone?

3. Does anyone have a similar specimen?

4. Could this coin be of collectible value?

1. Looks exactly like example imaged on the Numista coin page!

4. It is worth €2

Sorry cross? Can you point out the differences to this?

Edit: What King said before me.

Edit2: Are you comparing it to the 2008 type?

Hi.

This is simply this one:

N#6311

It's the 4th type of Belgian 2 euro with the king's portrait.

Thanks for your message. I appreciate that. Can you give me the expertise of this con, please. Here is a Spanish coin of the 1 euro of 2009 which the small stars on the left, but catalog says that small stars started to produce from 2010. If that could be any numismatic error?

That's the same Belgium coin you posted.

What catalog are you referring to?

This is what the Numista catalog N#6363 has:

The picture is terrible and should be replaced.  @Sjoelund ??

No reason to have that comparison at all, those stars (big and small) are not found in the same years, so it's NOT year variant, but maybe a type variant not detected?

@rsirian1 here are the images, not edited, please use them as you want:

the 2007

the 2008, both sides

Have a nice week-end out there.

I agree but the coin page already shows the difference with this picture.

Any wonder people get confused?

The photo above. Sorry, last time mixed the image with the first one.

The change from large stars to small stars happened in 2009 and was carried over on the new 2010 design. Your 2009 coin is not unusual.

Thank you for your reply. And in this coin on the reverse, there is a visible double rim on the silver edge. Is this considered a stamp  error?

More likely damage from being used in a machine.
