India 1 rupee coin - what is the additional design.

 Yes three pictures (of a worn coin) and one title, 

but no description - of what ‘additional design’ means. 

Would you by any chance know what is the design underneath the reverse side of the coin? There is not supposed to be circles to my understanding.

Reverse: 
Rupee symbol at top 

denomination in middle 

flanked by Lotus flowers 

and date below 

and the date above the mintmark at the bottom 

That circular wear pattern happens sometimes whey the coin is caught in a washing machine or dryer for awhile. They are not part of the design from the mint.
