I Inherited 5 Of These From My Dads Coin Collection.

It appears to me that there is very little interest in collecting this coin. Numista has the coin at a 85 on the rarity index, with no one listed on the website interested in owning one. I could find only a couple of listings on eBay with a price well over melt value, one at 319.99 and 599.00 ouch! Numista has no current sell price listed. I believe they minted only 25,000 of these in silver. With the world wide interest in anything associated with Princess Diana like her first born. Is the lack of interest in this coin a reflection of the unflattering depiction of the couple?  It’s not an attractive coin in my opinion. I believe the only way these increase in value over the years is if the silver prices keeps increasing.  Thanks 

Only 1,500 minted in silver. I have seen them on ebay for AU$85 which is about a fair price.

Here is a photo of the card that comes with each coin. If they only produced 1500 of these. That would make this coin very rare indeed. I’ve seen that number I believe on an eBay add. Where did you get that number of 1500? I’m not sure if the ones I have are part of the limited edition presentation. Each coin came in a box with a sticker that reads (PWKESP 20.01.11)

SCWC states 1,500 Your cert says Maximum. They could have made less.
