What's the significance of this number on the card?

Hello there,

Can you plse help me to understand this coin I purchased from a shop in Brisbane..

a) What's the significance of the number (circled) on this image shared?

b) Is this a genuine coin or not as I could not see such number in the images attached under this catalogue item?

a) There were 3000 paper sleeves printed (60 years bla bla …) and you own number 2498 of said paper.

b) No it is not a coin, it's an official medal/replica of a pattern.

My next question is which is the catalogue item suitable for logging this item? I could not figure it out. Kindly help.

If you see the reference images given in the writeup, the packing looks same as what I have, but they do not carry this numbering.

I also do not see the 3000 as a (mintage subset) number under this catalogue entry..

Eureka Coins website says that “no more than 10,000 of these will be produced”: https://www.eurekacoins.com.au/2024-swan-dollar-pattern-crown

It could be the case that initial production was 3000 but late extended to 7500 and these 4500 produced later aren't numbered. That's just a guessing, though.
