Are these US and Confederate $1 bills real?

I got these as a Christmas present, but I’m unsure if they’re real or not. They look like the ones I’ve seen on the internet, but they look too good to be true. I also got dollar bills from Texas, but I can tell that they are fake because they clearly say “COPY” on them. The Confederate $1 bills are 5 7/16 x 2 3/8 inches, while the US bills are 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches.

Did you know that Pluto is still a planet in Illinois and New Mexico and has de facto recognition as a planet in Arizona?

Greetings.  Did you look them up on Numista?  They appear to correspond to these two:

U.S. Greenback:  N#333728

Confederate Note: N#271185

You should be able to notice some obvious differences.

I looked them up previously and found their counterparts but now that you mentioned it I can see the difference. Thanks for the help!

Your notes are not real.  The real notes were not printed on parchment.  As to the Confederate note, the signatures were not a part of the printing, and would have oxidized to a brown.  The signatures on your note are black, and were printed at the time the copy of the note was printed.  Hope this helps.

Your notes are replicas, produced and sold as such without intent to deceive.

They are quite common, and are often copies of rarer US notes.
