Help identifying this ancient coin (bust + seated person)?

Hello,
I need help with this ancient coin I got in a bulk lot with no other ancient coins. I've never had an ancient coin (<1700s) before so I don't know how to research it. Ideally someone here would recognise who the bust is of?

Weight: 10.92g
Diameter: 22-23mm
Thickness: 2-3mm
Orientation: coin

The emperor is Maximinus Thrax, I'd recognize that chin anywhere. 😂

Judging from the size and weight it's most likely an as. With this information you can try and find the coin.

I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.

Oh that's great, you do recognise him! I'll look through those 165 results later today and update when I find it.

165? You should re-do the search. If you enter both the emperor and denomination you'll end up with 26 results. 😂

You did say that it's only “most likely” an as! 🧐I decided to only filter out the precious metals (getting 102 results) because some of the higher denominations had a seated person too so I didn't want to exclude them. After removing 1 result that was way too large, I have 10 results… I guess what's making it hardest for me to identify the coin is that it's most worn on the left side of the reverse so I can't see what the person's hand looks like, and that I don't know how much leeway I should give ancient coins when trying to find one that matches exactly 😅(It's really neat that it's narrowed down to a 3-year period already though!)
