German 1 Reichsmark, 1936 Mintmark "G"

Hello,

I recently began collection random coins from antique stores, and some time ago I bought a Third Reich 1 Reichsmark, minted 1936 at Karlsruhe (indicated with a G) for £2 GBP.

N#9527

When I started setting up my collection on this account I noticed the version I had was indicated as rare. Only 620,000 of these were minted, so should I take it that this coin has much more value than £2 or should I be suspicious? Photos below.

Karlsruhe minted a lot less 1RM coins than other mints. Coin got higher asking price than other mints for that year. But they still minted over half a million. You would have to find person interested in that coin to convert it to current money and 1RM does not have images that attract certain type of people to increase its price.

At least three are available for sale atm if somebody is looking for them.

Thanks, I never got into numismatics with the intent of trading so I'm very unfamiliar with what makes demand, etc. Will hold on to it.
