British members, what value would you place on this error?

2004 Double-Struck 2-pound coin:

It's on the US ebay site for $2500.

Not British so I won't offer my opinion but will say the coin page has one that sold for US $216.

My collection consists exclusively of double struck 2004 British coinage, so I feel my valuation is worthwhile.

But, alas, I am a just a swede. I curse my blond, herring loving forefathers. I wish I could help you in your search for knowledge, but the request forbids me.

Joke aside, it’s a beautiful coin! I wish more bi-metallic coins would play with letting the designs cross the metals boundaries. Anyone know of such designs?

Numista can list auctions for coins. Auction was for 1998 coin that was NGC certified. Sold by somebody who sold other collectable stuff for millions and then got reported.
