Barfurushdeh was a mint that produce local coinage for Mazandaran Province.  None of the coins minted in Barfurushdeh carry a legible date, but can be dated to the Aq-Qoyunlu dyanasty under Ya'qub (883-896 AH) and to the Safavid dyanasty under Tahmasp (930-984 AH) and Ismail II (984-985 AH).
