The Numista search is wonderfully helpful in finding items. You get the same results from “two” and “2”, and from accented and non-accented characters so you don't need to precisely mimic the entry to find an item.
But when I'm trying to clean up Numista I would like to be able to specify “search for exactly what I type”.
My current issue: The last character in the reverse lettering of N#319308 is not “A” but “Aั” – “A" followed by the Thai vowel sign Mai Han-Akat. I have seen this in several other entries and I would like to search for “Aั” to clean up all entries.
But searches for “Aั” finds every use of A, and filtering for “Aั” in Lettering produces no results (even though I know it is used).
Adding a mechanism for “search exactly” would make it easier to find things to clean up.
