I'm pretty sure these 2 pages are a duplicate entry and should be combined.

The first one above states metal as Copper-aluminium-nickel and is dated 2013 & 2014

The second one above states metal as Nordic Gold and is dated 2014, 2015 & 2016

I have got a 2016 dated copy in my possession and it is definitely NOT Nordic Gold it is Copper-aluminium-nickel.

Therefore I believe that the metal on N# 162530 should be changed to Copper-aluminium-nickel or just delete it and move members who have it to the other one?

They are identical in every respect except for the metal composition. They even have the same Reference number JTC# FR50-0555

I will be updating the pics of this Tourist Medal/Token soon but feel that the pages should be corrected/combined before I do that.

tu as mis le doigt sur un changement important de métal de la part de la Monnaie de Paris.

Ce qu'il faut savoir :

1°/ Avant 2014 le métal est du cupro-alu-nickel (CAN).

2°/ Après 2014 le métal est de l'or nordique (NG).

3°/ 2014 est une année de transition. La Monnaie de Paris a épuisée son stock de CAN avant de passer au NG.

4°/ certains sites importants ont une médaille de chaque métal pour le même millésime (2014).

Les deux fiches sont bien remplies mais incomplètes.

Comment les distinguer ? Voir sur le revers:

A gauche, “Paris” est en maigre donc CAN. A droite, "Paris" est en gras donc NG.

Cela ce vérifie sur toutes les médailles et confirmé par JTC voir : https://collection-jetons-touristiques.com/index.php?m=coin&id=0555 concernant ta médaille. Lorsque NG n'est pas mentionné dans la 2ème colonne, c'est du CAN par défaut.

Il y a 5105 médailles de la Monnaie de Paris, je ne les ai pas encore toutes vérifiées et certaines sont passées à la “trappe” comme celle ci.

Je dois mettre à jour prochainement mon topic sur les médailles souvenirs.

J'espère avoir été le plus clair possible et que la traduction  le sera tout autant….

I will defer to your knowledge and withdraw the request to change the Metal of this 2016 Token.

It did just look to me to be made of similar metal as the earlier ones but of course I must be wrong.

So this one dated 2012, 2013, 2014 is CAN >>> N#70896

And this one dated 2014, 2015, 2016 is NG >>> N#187387

I think it is a better picture than the one on Numista already so I will update the page.

I managed to get hold of about 20 of these medals and have found them to be very interesting. 

You say there are 5105 different ones .. Wow! I wonder if anyone has the complete set?
