Bought this as a “bronze coin for identification”. It has 19 mm in diameter and weights around 4.35 g.

Obverse is a bust with crown. Crown has these elongated “spikes”. There are some letters, but I can't make anything sensible out of them. I can read “…POL” or “…POC” or “…POE” and I'm guessing “AVG” at the end.

Revese has some inscriptions (unknown to me) that reminds me of cuneiform script. I'm not sure where's the bottom and where's the top :D

Something similar I've found on Numista:

Hello, Roman provincial coin,

Roman Provincial coin, Severus Alexander, Nicaea, Bithynia

Thanks. I've found few very similar coins, namely N#44366 and N#119440. So it's “Roman provinces - Assarion - Severus Alexander ΝΙΚΑΙΕΩΝ; standards; Nicaea”, but some type that is not yet on Numista.

I tried finiding it on https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/ but there is no perfect match. Closes was RPC VI, 30139. RPC VI, 326 points to a completely different coin…

I will contact RPC and would try finding out the exact type.

I think it's RPC VI, 30139.

I've found something even closer - RecGen 617:

I've added it to Numista: N#409497 and it's pending. I'm not sure what's the currency and denomination, so I've mimicked other coins and went for "AE" name
